Welcome to our guide to the awesomely translucent Haworthia Cooperi, a stunning succulent, an outstanding small plant that looks great in almost any part of your home. It is a rare stemless succulent native to South Africa that develops rosettes of smooth, fleshy, and round-tipped beautiful blue-green patterned leaves that seem like tiny vivid watermelons.
It can grow between 3 and 5-inches in height with a diameter of about 4-inches. Haworthia cooperi is a well-known plant with many different names: window haworthia, cooper’s haworthia, star window plant, pussy foot, and cushion aloe.

Haworthia Cooperi Light Requirements
Bright indirect sunlight is ideal. A haworthia cooperi will be well at home in an east-facing or west-facing window where it receives good indirect sun, or off to the side of a south facing window. the right amount of sunlight it requires. They can become acclimatized to much more sun, but slowly over time.
Watering Needs
Let the soil dry out before watering it again, check the soil weekly with your finger, but only water it if dry.
Water your succulent thoroughly during its growing season from fall to spring. Water once every week, or when the top two inches of its soil seems dry to touch and be sure to allow it to drain out completely. Reduce watering in winter months to once every month as overwatering is the biggest cause of root rot.
Temperature
The ideal temperature for your Haworthia Cooperi is between 20-25°C (68°F-77°F). They are tough and can tolerate cooler temperatures down to 5°C (41°F).
Fertilizer
If you don’t feed your haworthia cooperi they will be ok, but you can feed them a well diluted cactus and succulent feed in the summer months of you like to encourage growth.
Humidity Needs
Low humidity is best for your haworthia cooperi indoors. Avoid placing your plant in high humidity areas with poor air circulation.
Best Soil Mix
Like other succulents, haworthia cooperi also prefers well-drained, sandy soil. You can prepare soil mix for your succulent by mixing equal parts of standard potting soil, perlite, and coarse sand. You can also use commercially available succulent or cactus soil mix too, or try our DIY succulent soil.
Propagating Your Haworthia Cooperi
Haworthia cooperi propagation can be carried out in the following three simple steps:
Step 1: Take some healthy leaves from a clean, pest-free haworthia cooperi mother plant.
Step 2: Place these leaves on a flat surface for a day or until they form callus.
Step 3: After callus formation, place these leaves about two inches apart in a clean tray with freshly moist potting mix.
And it’s done! Here, you must keep its soil well-moist by misting it thoroughly with water once after two days, especially in the morning.

Yes you can root the leaves, make sure they detach form the main plant cleanly, then you can propagate them by burying the wide end down.
